I will be putting my notice into letting agent, i have a few things i dont understand, HELP PLEASE.?
The deposit monies are to cover any damages done to the property during your tenancy and cannot be used to pay the final months rent. This should be returned to you once the property has been inspected and found to be in the required condition. You pay your final months rent on the day you give your notice which will take you to the same date the following month. For example, say your rent date was 30th each month then you would give one months notice on 30 May, on which date your rent would be paid, to cover your rental from 30 May to 30 June and then you would move out, with your deposit monies due for return when inspection has taken place.
