How is asking a question about the authenticity of the claims made in the zeitgeist movie a violation?

I had asked a question yesterday about why many people linked to this movie on r&s and if they had actually researched the claims made in it.Then I gave a example of Krishna and how the movie falsely claims he was born to a virgin when in the actual religious text concerning krishna he is the 7th child born to his parents while in prison.I asked why people didnt verifiy the claims made in this movie before ping it around to those of us who are religious as if it proves that all religions are copied from each other..I got some good answers and then someone reported it as not being a question.Why do people do this to questions that arent rude or vulgar?Is it because they just dont agree with the basis of the question?
