Recurring Dream?

I have this bad recurring dream since I was 13. This dream would usually come on specific dates and hour every year. I had one of them last night .This dream would always look and seem so real that I often wake up breathless and crying in the night. In my dream I see myself walking along a wooded riverbank in the dark of the night dressed in a mestiza spanish dress (like those in the 19th century). A man whom I call Daniel came to meet me. and pulls me frantically to follow him but before both of us could run any further somebody shoot him and he died. The dream would end with me being shot as well. What could this dream mean and why does it follow a certain pattern of time? Could this be an omen or a warning of an impending danger? Or do I need to see a psychiatrist?
