What should I do with this?

I'd say go for it, it seems pretty good and very descriptive. Do whatever you think is right. And don't worry, I think every writer goes through this same thing. I'll have to rewrite a story almost 4 times until I am satisfied with it and that is part of what makes any writer a good writer.
