Would you care to comment on this little observation?

This past week, every night while working my way home, I have delighted in the wonder of the lights in my path. It amazes me, that with things being so hard on so many people, that anyone has any heart to be festive with lights...but I thank God, that they are. We are. Great poem, Happy Christmas.
