How to tell if he likes me...even if his friends say he's still afraid of girls?

Im 13 and i like this guy...lets call him C.E. He is also 13, i like him and roumours have been going around that i like him. His friends tell me a lot..dont even try he's still afriad of girls.. my friends asked him and he turned red...when we talk to each other...he makes me laugh a lot..sometimes i will catch him looking at me,i look back at him for a second and we both turn away. He and his friends always tease me about my shoe collection and on friday i wore a pair of pink nikes to school and he asked me if he could try one on i said ya ...and he attemped to fit his foot in. He plays guitar..and i can only play on song and when he asked me if i knew how i said ya only 1 "im yours" he said wow me too! and the other day i was talking about it with a friend and he was like im yours right?...he talks to me kind of a lot... but im not sure...do you have any tips on how i can get him to like me? do you think i have a chance even though hes "still afraid"?
