AT&T Family Plan Price questions?

My brother wants to change his plan to a family plan so he can add me and buy me the Captivate. If we share 550 minutes, get family unlimited texting, both get 2GB data plans, will it be $165 (that's including tax, uming tax is $25). And does he still get a discount because he works in Starbucks even though it's a family plan?
